About Me
I was born and raised in the small town of Berthoud, Colorado, aka, "The Garden Spot." I was raised to deeply respect nature and the surrounding landscape, often going on hikes and camping trips with my family.
After taking a gap year in between high school and college to teach English in Spain, I attended the University of Colorado, Boulder. The campus soon became my second home and I fell in love with my late nights in Norlin Library, huddled away in the stacks studying with a cup of black coffee.
I majored in Broadcast Journalism with a minor in Anthropology. These disciplines may seem worlds apart, but to me, they share a common purpose: the search for humanity and the stories that connect us.
My philosophy is simple: listen, observe, and seek out the human stories that matter. I strive to share stories that empower people while creating engaging, innovative content that informs, inspires, and connects.

FOX31 & Channel 2
Digital Reporter/ Digital Content Producer/ Social Media Specialist
On FOX31 & Channel 2's digital team, I wrote three to five articles per shift, edited and curated the station's website daily, researched and wrote breaking news and promoted all content via desktop and mobile push alerts, social media posts (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter) and analyzed website metrics to improve content performance. I studied Broadcast Journalism and Archaeology and graduated with a Bachelor's degree in Journalism and a minor in Anthropology from CU, Boulder. To this day, I strive to continue my learning experience.
